Salute to Stephen Cobert!
Whether you agree with the war or not, no one can deny that the men and women over there deserve the chance to just sit back and laugh, the opportunity to forget the hell they have been placed in, through no fault of their own, if even just for a half hour, and Colbert was, IMO, brilliant! Nice cameo by the President as well!

I missed both Jon and Steven tonight. I was looking forward to see Stevens new haircut ;), but did not have electricity until about 11:30 p.m. and still do not have any cable service. Oh well, it could be worse, 30 days ago the damage was much worse and the outages lasted for days. Hopefully will get to watch them tomorrow. (oops, that should say later today.)

Our cable service came back on for about an hour this morning and then disappeared. What is funny, even the phones for the company are not working. You call any of their offices and all you get are just get some weird tones.

It pays to be patient and understanding during these times. It is not their fault that the television is my constant companion. ;)
