Whether any of them are actually from Pennsylvania.

5. What is Sestak's viability as a statewide candidate?

Pennsylvania seems to have a lot of idiocyncracies in voting blocks by geography and 'machines'.

I would be curious what PA folk think of Sestak's chances in a GE. It seems some PA DUers, even though they strongly support Sestak's point of view, have questions about a GE fight in PA.

7. I'm not from PA, but I dont see Sestak having trouble statewide vs a Repuke
The only thing that limits him at the moment is name recognition, which is still relatively low.

But I think his background in the Navy is very appealing for a statewide race.

6. If Spectre wins the primary, he won't be getting my vote in the general. And many PA Dems
feel this way.

Single-bullet boy is no Democrat.

13. Not believing in the single bullet theory does not make you a Democrat

If you want to believe in your own conspiracy theories be my guest.

16. That atrocity is not my only gripe with Spectre. Would you rather me have called him
Edited on Wed Jun-03-09 03:04 PM by T Wolf
Cancer Boy? He deserves NO respect or consideration from any Democrat. He has been an integral part of the repuke ruling group for decades. It's time for him to go away. Dead or retired - I don't care.

The point is that the PoS is not a Democrat and will not be able to fool everyone in PA.

The danger is that he will, with the help of the state and national Democratic parties, fool enough Democrats to win in the general election.

We already have a right-wing asshole in Casey. We certainly do not need someone even further to the right.

And are you intimating that I am not a Democrat or that I consider myself one simply because I question the "official" story of JFK's assassination? On that, you may be(coming) correct because the Democratic Party has moved so far to the reich-side of the spectrum that I find fewer and fewer issues where I agree with "our" leaders.

19. He isn't known statewide
Toomey is because he nearly defeated Specter in a statewide primary.

Plus, one helluva lot of Specter Republicans are now Specter Democrats that wouldn't vote for Sestak in the general

Tells you how relevant the left or the far right is. I think Thompson was ahead in their polls.

I'd be wary of kicking out a popular Dem.

22. But I'm not a PA voter, so I don't get to speak for them and neither do you.
PA voters get to decide who represents them so I don't see the point of this psuedo poll.

23. I'm a PA voter, and it really depends on who the likely GOP nominee is
If I think Sestak could lose the general election then I'll probably vote for Specter, otherwise I'll vote for Sestak, even though I don't really think too highly of Sestak. He sucks at local interviews, and is more moderate then most here think.

29. I am a Pennsylvania Primary voter and I plan on voting for Joe Sestak.
Specter has been around long enough and does not represent the best interests of the working people here in PA as he once seemed to do.

I liked him at one time, but that seems to have passed.

mark
