Some crazy woman at the shooting range (yeah, I know, who would have thought!) said that Obama was was bring Hammas terrorists to the USA. When I said I didn't believe her she told me it was under the guise of bringing Palestinian refugees here. When I said that refugees are not terrorists, she said that Hammas controls the whole area. I doubted it, but even if it was true, they were the victims of Hammas and not terrorists themselves. She also have the nerve to tell me I should read up on these things like disagreement with her makes me an ignoramus. This whole thing started when she casually said Michael Moore and POTUS should be tried for treason and I asked how they were waging war on the United States.

Contrary to some news media reports, President Obama did not authorize Palestinian "refugees" to migrate to the U.S. as part of emergency assistance following Israel's 22-day war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Also, the New Media Journal featured a piece by author Paul L. Williams with the screaming headline, "Pres. Obama invites Hamas terrorists to America."

An e-mail containing an article titled, "Obama Decrees: Massive Immigration of Hamas Refugees from Gaza To U.S." has been circulating with the byline of CNN's Lou Dobbs. However, WND has learned Dobbs did not pen any such piece. The article was simply posted on the reporter's website forum and later falsely attributed to him.

WND received a number of e-mail requests from readers asking the news organization to investigate the stories.

Thankfully I haven't run into anyone that nutty at the shooting range. At least anyone that bothered talking about it, not that I would have noticed.

I am sure there are a number of right wing kooks, but when I go with friends we generally run in to very good people. Of course being at a shooting range does tend to heighten one's respect for everyone else regardless. It doesn't matter what color you are, what your sexual persuasion is, everyone is looking out for everyone else at ALL times.

When they aren't, horrible things can happen in the blink of an eye.

When some crazy woman at a gun range asserts that the moon is made of green cheese, the burden of proof lies UPON HER!! Otherwise it goes like this:

CW: Prove that came from the moon.

D13: You see the guys getting off the spaceship with it.

You can't ever prove that someone else's bullshit argument isn't true, they need to prove that it is. If you said you went to the moon yourself she'd say prove it. You need to tell her to prove her bullshit argument is true. Telling you you need to read is another tactic that they throw in at the moment of deconstruction, knowing that they have failed (my dad does this and I know that he has read nothing. His sole source of information is R.L. who also has read nothing.). This is what the right always does.

Change the subject constantly, throw the burden of proof (of your own bs argument) on your opponent, then tell them they are ignorant for not reading (unnamed, indefinite material) about said bs.

We should all figure out how to master this form of bullshitting, but its really hard to do because divorcing yourself from facts and reality is a pesky problem. You need to achieve a zen-like state where you hover outside yourself and reality and counter with equally inane assertions founded on equally absurd and intangible evidence. Good luck.

Consider this also, they say that "a man who attempts to wash an asses head loses both his time and soap" which is clearly true and moreover a real life lesson.
