Who would head your ideal administration?
Edited on Thu Jan-08-04 05:23 PM by spooky3
Let's take the current 9 candidates for President. Obviously, only one will get the nomination. So, just for fun, I was wondering:

1) If the other 8 agreed to serve in your favorite President's administration, and you could appoint them to posts, what post would each hold? (Please be sure to name who your President is too).
2) If you consider at least one of the 9 candidates unsuitable for any position, please leave that candidate out, and put in a substitute (e.g., Sen. Graham, Sen. Landrieu, a governor you like, etc.) for any open position that interests you.

2. President Howard Dean
Vice President Bob Graham
Attorney General John Edwards
Sec. of Defense Wes Clark
Sec. of HHS Dennis Kucinich
Sec. of Education Carol Mosely Braun
Secretary of Labor Dick Gephardt
Press Secretary Al Sharpton

I would leave Kerry and Lieberman in the Senate, as they would be more effective there.

When I fill in around the edges, I'm not choosing any sitting Dem governor or congressperson.

Pres - Clark
VP - Gephardt
State - Holbrooke
Defense - Hollings
Homeland Security - Graham
HH&S - Dean
Treasury - Rubin
Agriculture - no idea
Labor - Kucinich
Atty Gen - Edwards

on edit: I agree that Kerry & Lieberman are more valuable in the Senate.

And I wouldn't have any of them in the admin, except Kucinich, Edwrads and Braun.

Sharpton is better off without being tied to an office.
