Evidently not.

It was that dumb.

Of course Bush and Lieberman shouldn't be president - I don't get it. And believe me I like taking polls.

27. Not really. You asked two contradictory questions.
"Who Ought Not Be President?"

OR

"Which do you believe most right now?"

Don't blame people who failed to read it the way you meant it. Or tried to make sense of it and guessed wrong. It was poorly done, that's all.

"Who Ought Not Be President?"

OR

"Which do you believe most right now?"

Can't be both.

10. For very many people of all different campaigns in the Democratic Party
one answer leaps out immediately for both questions. Apparently this is not true of all Democratic candidates' supporters.

43. By the way, amateur grammarians:
Edited on Thu Jan-08-04 05:41 PM by BurtWorm
"Which" is for objects, "whom" is for people. From the context, it's clear that the question "Which do you believe most right now?" cannot refer to a person. It must therefore refer to the choices for the question, "Who ought not be president?"

(And while we're on the grammar lesson, it's Democratic Party!)

45. this is the problem
Edited on Thu Jan-08-04 05:47 PM by lcordero
I asked myself these questions:
Who is a "free" trader, an insider and a corporate wh0r3?
Who is an occupationist?
Who is part of the military-industrial complex?
Who wants to limit my civil liberties and rights?

All four questions have the same answer and that's "all of the above".

On edit: so all of the above do have any of the values that I feel are important no matter how much lip service they give them.

Agreed, rhetoric is just that.

There is no 'all of the above' choice so I could not vote.

Edited on Thu Jan-08-04 05:48 PM by BurtWorm
"Which" doesn't refer to people. In this case it refers to the choices in the poll. That's obviuous to most people voting, I think, or I might have to take into account a portion who don't understand English grammar.
