Bush Is Even More Unpopular Now That He's Out Of Office!
BWAHAHAAHAHAAHA!!!!

Methinks that compared to a REAL President, he's gonna drop even further.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/29/poll-bush-getting-even-mo_n_192861.html

"A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll found that former President Bush's popularity has dropped since he left office.

When he left office in January, 31 percent of American's viewed him positively. That number has now dropped to 26 percent.

President Barack Obama, meanwhile, is more popular than the past two presidents at this point during their first terms.

According to the poll, 61 percent approve of Obama's job -- that's compared with George W. Bush's 56 percent and Bill Clinton's 52 percent at this same juncture in their presidencies.

Also, 64 percent view Obama favorably versus 23 percent who see him in a negative light -- once again, higher than Bush's and Clinton's scores on this question.

Additionally, 64 percent of Americans also "feel more hopeful about the direction of the country with Obama in office," and a full 59 percent feel he has accomplished a "great deal" or a "fair amount.""

1. Two reasons:
1. We are only beginning to bear the full brunt of the economic crash set in motion during his term

2. The contrast with a brilliant and eloquent president who actually has compassion for people and makes himself available to the press and public.

2. Cheney's idiotic comments are going to give the people a permanent
bitter after taste for the entire administration.

I wonder now if he thinks picking Cheney was such a good idea.

I predict that the two will have an even greater falling out as they publish their books and try and 'set the record straight'.

3. If I remember right
Cheney picked Cheney.

That should've been a clue right there that Cheney was going to run the show.

4. bush picked cheney like McCain picked Palin.
Except that cheney picked himself and Palin was picked by brilliant, behind-the-scenes republikan strategists.

7. I posted about this the other day
I was actually slightly surprised...my opinion of Bush has gone up very slightly since he left office (like, from 0 on a scale of 100 to maybe 2 or 3). At least he's been classy and avoided taking potshots at his successor, unlike Cheney. And he was gracious during the transition and went out of his way to help make it as smooth as possible, which I appreciate. Not that any of that makes up for all the harm he did to the country, but I would say my personal favorability towards Bush went from 0 to may 2 or 3 since he left office.

Why are they still polling on Bush and Cheney anyway? Those guys are yesterday's news. Why do they care what people think of them anymore?

8. Evrery morning I wake up and think about how Bush ruined this country and
how he allowed the banks and Wall St to destroy the middle class. How he and regulatory agencies completely ignored the fraudulent activity within the banking industry and sent this economy into an economic status that will take a generation to repair completely..Yes this guy deserves nothing more than a private jail cell beside Madoff..
And for those that still approve of this guy are sick, yes they must be mentally unstable.

10. WAIT A MINUTE!!! (Sorry for the caps. Wanted your attention) See text
Letterman's poll has a very favorable poll of Bush. Bush is viewed favorably because they are happy he is not the President now.
