David Schuster thinks this business of declassifying torture memos
is so Cheney can have them to back up claims made in his book, which is soon to be published.

That would expect the time line....

4. And you know what? Watching the way this is playing out so perfectly,
I'm pretty sure that there's a good chance it will do exactly that. We are dealing with some pretty brilliant minds who are running this show - after all-this is the team who got Obama elected combined with some of our most experienced and gifted advisors and on top of that, President Obama is a constitutional attorney. I truly believe this has been carefully orchestrated and as they promised, this team doesn't want to "win the game"- this team intends to "Change The Game". GoBama

6. Yes, it's going to be real difficult getting that toothpaste back in the
tube. And now, anything Cheney has requested to be declassified is fair game for us!

2. Does that mean he's already put classified information in his book?
Did he share this information with his publisher? Would that be considered a crime?

5. Willing to endanger world diplomacy, how they see our Prez, for a book?
Beyond craven.

7. Did he fill out his FOIA form? Back of the line, Shooter.
The White House indicated he hasn't even formally requested anything. He apparently thinks the Document Fairy will be by directly.
