My imagination or what?
It seemed to me that during Pres. Obama's Strategy/Strategy speech today about Pakistan and Afghanistan - Hillary Clinton looked furious. What say you?

not furious.

4. My take -
she liked what he was saying and she had a little nod to her head - serious and in agreement. I thought it was cool.

She be doin serious work and looking a bit tired too. But good to have her engaged in serious work. She is far to talented to not utilize.

8. She gave a very emphatic nod when the President talked about the rights of women and girls
If she has to look forward to hashing that out with the Taliban and other Islamic regimes she has good reason to look grim.

10. I do think Hillary likes being Secretary of State better than she would have Vice President
This way, she is her own person with her own staff and can act more independently, even when President Obama sets the agenda.

11. Yep. It's perfect for her.
And with her notoriety (for lack of a better word) - the world know who she is. What a weapon she has in that.

5. Has there ever been a confrontation between
HRC and Rahm?

6. Long time ago I think I heard a rumor to that effect,
but memory is of no assistance in this case. Maybe somebody else knows.

I think a story went around about the time that the President chose him as Chief of Staff back in November.

If Hillary doesn't like Rahm, that brings her rating up a notch in my eyes.

12. I think what you're referring to is....
Edited on Fri Mar-27-09 10:38 PM by Clio the Leo
..... Hillary laughing at the notion that she wouldn't need Rahm's permission before she phoned the President or she could call Rahm whenever she wanted to or Rahm would take her calls or something. Something she laughed off.

ETA: This is what I'm thinking of....

I've certainly never heard of any ill feelings between them. If there were, I doubt both of them would be in the Administration.

I mean, Howard Dean aint around is he?

13. The Clintons don't like Howard Dean...
The primaries were only a small reason why.. (remember FLA & MI)
