Obama Needs Some DownTime
Watching the online Town Hall for a bit on C-SPAN3, and couldn't help but notice something. Obama is still on top of the questions and process, but his energy field is so drained. Fatigued and tired of fighting, but he musters on. He has to tackle the issues, deal with Repug hate, face a mutiny in the Conservadems who insist they are trying to HELP HIM SUCCEED by supporting Repug filibusters. He needs down time - family, kids, exercise, nature and Camp David.

Let's send him some love.

3. I think he is at the top of his game.....
and that the rest of the people with opinions about everything are having a hard time keeping up with him.

Personally, I think you need some down time.....so that you can keep up. You are the one who is probably tired. I base this on your judgment as exhibited with this thread.

8. Yes, with the economy imploding he should take another vacation.
Fantastic idea.

It's probably the toughest job in the world, but he signed up for it.

16. He's doing too much!!!! He's doing too little!!!!! He's too distracted!!!!
Edited on Thu Mar-26-09 02:34 PM by Proud Liberal Dem
You just know that the instant he tries to take a vacation, the corporate whore media and Repukes will be claiming that he is "abandoning" his job" or "not at the wheel when things are so rotten in this country" and on and on and on...................
Hopefully, he understands (and I think he does) that he's going to punk'd on for EVERYTHING he does (or doesn't). He seems to be doing what he can to ignore all of the distractions and moving head despite everything coming at him. It's almost like he is running down a gauntlet with fire coming from both sides- but he just keeps running headlong towards his goals.

Frankly, I'm worn out just trying to keep up with all of the contradictory right-wing memes!!!!
:eyes:
