Quit talking about teleprompters and CALL congress!!! Lets get this budget passed!!!

(you'll forgive my attempt at injecting humor in to this, I'm really not complaining about all of the teleprompter discussion, just trying to get your attention.)

Anyway .... just wanted to make sure that we have ALL written or called our Senators and Reps. urging them to vote FOR the President's budget plan.

Here is what I've written, you are welcomed to copy it.....

Dear ________,

I'm writing to request that you vote IN FAVOR of the President's Budget next week.

It is extremely important to me that our government improve and reform health care by making it affordable to all Americans. For our national security, we must reduce our dependence on foreign oil and, instead, invest in ways to promote forms of renewable energy. Finally, I know that improving our public education system is something that you certainly agree is important to this nation's future.

The President's budget addresses each of these three important issues and your vote in the affirmative would be greatly appreciated.

1. lol, whoops....

... and I just pasted the same letter I sent to Sen. Alexander into Sen. Corker's contact form but FORGOT to replace "Alexander" with "Corker."

Because of this, he'll no doubt vote against it, the budget wont pass and it will be all my fault. lol :blush:

5. I called my Repug Rep and both Senators last week.

I got an email from David Plouffe that provided an easy link to my Reps. phone numbers. All you do is type in your address or zip and the info comes right up.
