Tweety has gone completely insane!
talking about the presser, he says Obama wants to be a GREAT president, not just a good president. Makes Obama sound like a megalomaniac. At least, KO finally slapped him down.

3. His whole body is tingling, and I must admit after watching him handle the press I am
right there with him. The repugs are stabbing themselves in the head right now. They can not beat this guy or make him look bad. He just makes them look so petty and silly!!

6. No, I don't think that's what he's saying.
He's saying he wants real change, not just to push along small actions that might make you popular, but won't dramatically change the country.

7. I liked it when he said Obama seems to act like he came to D.C. to do big things
I agree with that. Obama has rolled up his sleeves and is taking on all the things that have been let to slide. Education, health care and the others.

34. He was overdoing it
the whatever it is was going up his leg. The gushing was over the top. And his predicting Obama is gonna shove this through with 50 votes...like Tweety knows.

Ack. I guess I'm just sick of these guys.

14. There was no slap down that I saw. The only think Keith said to him was that Obama
doesn't have to worry about the ratings (the number of people who watched). THEY have to worry about their ratings.

He's the worst, most banal, most transparent, least professional 'personality' on TV.

wants to be a great president. He wasn't calling him a meglomaniac. He was saying he won't be satisfied with just doing a good job, but wants to do GREAT things.

Edited on Tue Mar-24-09 08:22 PM by Richardo
The day after that he'll trash somebody else. After that, who knows? Throw a dart.

The man has no filter and everything he says is totally meaningless.

16. That's not how I interpreted it at all
Tweety talked about past administrations doing small things to make people feel good which essentially made the President no better than just a Prom King. Obama, on the other hand, wants bigger and better things. He wants to be Great, not just popular. This is what I think Tweety was talking about.

That was Tweety's way of saying that Obama is a great President!

How come you guys don't like Tweety?

He's the real deal. He actually interviews the pols and doesn't let them
get away with nonsense.

The man is an artist.

33. Ancient AP US History class truism..
...mediocre presidents want to be someone. Great presidents want to do something.

(Clinton, of course wanted to do someone, but that's not covered by the truism...)
