Laugh of the day....Freepers trying to figure out civil disobedience
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2183162/posts

The ideas center around mailing tea bags to the government, earning as little income as possible, and disobeying traffic laws.

1. earning as little as possible would be a natural for inbred morans
LOL!

seriously, though, I've always been fascinated with the white supremacist cognitive dissonance of being a patriot but trying to avoid taxes.

2. Their leaders are patriots by avoiding the draft
Being a patriot to a freeper is getting someone else to live up to your civil responsibilities for you.

3. Mailing tea bags to the government?
While I'm sure they think it's clever, I can't imagine the folks at the local DMV will be too happy with all the freeper tea they get.

Bet it's that nasty "Stash" brand stuff, too.

6. One person asked if it was against the law
They were all worried till another had to explain civil disobedience means you break an unjust law willingly and take the consequences to make a political statement...I'm guessing it was someone from DU who has trolled well.

That way they can make sure they are arrested and save the taxpayers the cost of gas to transport them.

4. Freeper "danae" suggests an approach I really like and try to follow myself.
Do they realize it's the epitome of "green living", (or at least parts of it are):

In my case, I am constantly thinking of ways to earn as little taxable income as possible and spend as little money as possible. I put as much under the radar as possible, but legally.

This can be through barter, craigslist, ebay, etc.

Grow your own vegetables and sell the surplus to your neighbors (no money spent at the market). Bicycle commute. Telecommute when possible. Buy as much as possible used from private parties - craigslist, garage sales, etc. Pay off all your debt and “horde” your actual earned (and taxed) money. Stuff like that.

I also ignore traffic laws when it is clearly safe to do so (and there are no cops around).

When one person does this it is pretty meaningles. When a lot do, it has an impact.

An impact? Lots of impacts, I'll bet. Head on collisions, side swipes, etc. Oh I love the unintentional humor of morans.

first of all, it's the W4 where you specify exemptions. 50 exemptions? This guy is insane. Deductions are handled on your 1040. Have any of these people ever worked or filed taxes? Jeez.

10. That's a rhetorical question, isn't it?
I mean I'm sure they work - have to get the funds to buy Ann Coulter's latest masterbatorypiece. But i'm pretty sure none of them have the first fucking clue about taxes. Which works out great for their party, because the last thing the Republican cult leaders need is a bunch of poor people figuring out how taxation works.

That will bring down the Pentagon make the FBI crumble and turn the IRS into babbling idiots.

Until this post I had no idea exactly how far out of touch these people are. (The IRS already assumes 15% gratuities for tax reasons.)
