The thought of President Barack Obama, schooling people tomorrow and
Tuesday, makes me happy. He is different, and I love that. See a problem? Attack it. Cool.

4. Some heads are spinning!
How dare Obama continue "campaigning"?

I LOL at how the media just don't know what to do with a president who admits a mistake and who continues engaging the people AFTER being elected.

5. I'm not altogether worried about it. That says a lot about President Obama
Edited on Mon Feb-09-09 09:36 AM by lunatica
I'm learning to trust him more. I always worry what Reid will say, and I worry what Pelosi will say because they have both reversed themselves and contradicted themselves so many times that anyone who still believes they have the country's best interest at heart is deluding themselves. One day they seem to love the American public and the next they embrace the enemy of the American people.

I also think of myself as recovering from the abusive treatment of our government during Bush's years of lying, thieving and conniving doublespeak. But President Obama keeps coming out with the same message and the same approach. He may compromise, but he's not selling the country down the river with the compromises. I'm beginning to think that maybe his words weren't just empty rhetoric. And I'm beginning to believe that he's pliable in his approach. That he weighs new information as it comes in and adjusts his strategy accordingly. I tend to trust people who do that.

8. That's right, and he's doing an end run around the fuckers.
And taking it to the people.

Just like a good community organizer would!
