1. Yep - like H1B visa workers
Edited on Fri Feb-06-09 05:53 PM by FreakinDJ
How does a Stimulus package to help Americans keep their jobs include bringing in H1B visa workers to replace them

I'm sure it makes all kinds of sense to RATpublicons

2. of course they caved. On the other hand, this won't be the last stimulus bill
...and it gives Obama a big legislative victory in the early going, and keeps the Republicans from their "strategery" of shutting everything down for four years until they can steal another one...

If, of course, things are as reported...

3. Aw, shit. I wanted to see a knock-down, drag-out filibuster fight
culminating in the Republicans hollering "Uncle!" and giving in on everything.

16. I don;t think Crist will run, Ron Klein is considering he's got quite a war chest
Kendrick Meek has announced. Many will have a hard time raising funds with current economy

5. Sounds like they caved on a lot. If thats the price tag
when the thing was up to over 900 Billion.

I bet they caved, only to get 2or 3 Republican votes
