Google publishes satellite image of the inauguration for Google Earth..
If you are a Google Earth user, you can download an overlay file taken at 11:19 AM on Inauguration day by the GeoEye satellite. At the time it was about 425 miles above the earth. Toggle the image on and off to see the swarms of people. You can also see moving vans pulling into the front of the White House (at about 1/3 of the photo from the left end) and Marine 1 sitting behind the Capitol Building.
