So I did it - I turned on Faux - AND
they are praising Obama's speech!

Yep - Brent Baier, Shepard Smith and some other repug.

They were really impressed with how he addressed foreign policy, and how he spoke about some battle in VietNam, how he reached out to people all over the world - how he said that we need to feed the hungry, especially people's minds.

And - sit down -
they are praising him for making the steps to close Gitmo.

I kid you not.

Did hell freeze over?

It really has been an historic day :)

2. Some battle in Vietnam???
That's like saying Normandy was "some battle in World War II"...

it's even worse considering it wasn't really that long ago - 1968.

Please, I beg you, take just a little time and learn a LITTLE bit about the history of the Vietnam War.

3. Sorry - I'm not a big history buff when it comes to the Vietnam War,
so take your insults elsewhere - okay?

10. OMG, I am such an idiot. I thought that was some reference to the Korean War, not 'Nam.
Oh well, I was born in 1986, can't expect me to know the ins and outs of that war.

4. I think they're realizing......
that they will be marginalized and ratings will plummet if they start in with the nastiness right away. This election was not a "squeaker" - it was a clear and overwhelming majority. Anyone watching the million plus people on the mall knows that.

5. It will be interesting to see what they say tomorrow :)
Then again - what I was watching did not include O'Reilly or Hannity.

7. O'Reilly was pretty kind.

Hannity, on the other hand, wasn't even on!

Shepard Smith and Geraldo are both fans of the Obama's.

I just remembered, O'Reilly had a moment of snark when he said Obama mentioned God 5 or 6 times and that would make the secular progressives mad!

9. Hannity saved his snivveling for the radio...
The pathetic whelp dredged up every boogeyman scenario he could think of. It was great fun hearing him become more shrill and whiney by the minute.

Welcome to Marginal-land, kiddo.
