in dec UPS vans started showing up at my house
full of freaking ponies
i got mine first and then
they started bringing all the ponies to me that were not properly addressed for delivery
i now have 229 ponies in my yard
code enforcement is starting to ask questions
the hay and grain costs are killing me

if you were promised a pony please come and get the DAMN THING OFF MY LAWN!!!

7. ever since i got my jet-ski, i have been enjoying the wide-open waters...

i haven't been home since late november to check my mail...or any deliveries, for that matter...

if you have MY pony, please take good care of it, as i am in no position to verify that it is MINE...and i wouldn't want an innocent pony to suffer due to some bureaucratic/delivery snafu...

i thought i was only getting the jet-ski, so you might call john edwards and see if the pony is his...

... seriously. The ONLY thing I can complain about the campaign/transition/whatever about is their merchandising. The man is SOOOO marketable and their swag is weak to quite weak.

I realize they want to be tasteful and I dont REALLY want them to start selling My Little Obama Ponies but still ..... there is an overall lack of clever, cute, fun merchandise available.

To put it simple ... I need more pink stuff.

I realize you can get things on Cafe Press and ebay etc. but I'd really rather send the money to the man who's image the stuff bares.

Although, I am excited about my new change.gov ruler....

24. My boyfriend was one of those kids who DID get a pony until...

his mother decided the upkeep was too much in rural new mexico, his grandmother got it for him.

He had it for about a month or two then one day he went to school and when he came home the pony was gone and was replaced with...no lie...A GOAT.

Who decides a goat is a proper replacement for a pony I will never know. He was instructed to go to his grandmothers house for an explanation. Grandmother says something about needed to be with other ponies on a farm blah blah blah, no one really explains why a goat was the replacement.

The goat was short lived, ate and destroyed everything, then the goat figured out how to get up on the roof of the house (it was a one level house). He started coming home from school to find the goat hanging out up on the damn roof.

Then one day the goat was gone, from what he was told when he was older the goat went back to the farm where it came from.

True story, I dont tell it as well as he does but it's damn funny.
