I saw a Bush/Cheney sign at the foot of a cross yesterday.

A household here in Kentwood has a cross they decorate for the seasons. It has purple flowers on it (don't ask me what kind) and a Bush/Cheney sign at the foot.

21. So my parents went to Church today and my father came back

with some "reading material" one of his Sunday School class members had distributed. It contained a quote from the Koran (chapter/verse? 9-11) and babbled on about awakening the Eagle and Iraq's significance in the Bible. Bottom Line? * is obviously God's chosen man and is fulfilling not only biblical prophecy but prophecies from the Koran! Can you believe this shit? It took me all of about 2 seconds to find the whole thing was false on Snopes.Com. But I guess this is just another sick attempt by the Repugs to shore up their religious base. BTW--I'm proud to report my parents were eye-rolling on this one even before I find the info disproving this piece of shit. They're life-long Democrats.
