who the fuck cares what a drug-addled moron thinks?

Seriously. They have yet to be right on just about anything, and frankly he (and some of his listeners) just want to stir the pot. Don't fall for it.

9. Hillary's pick is good for Rush Limpball's career
He needs Hillary! He knows his base hates her with a passion so naturally he'd be happy to have her in a high office so he can feed off that hate! Don't worry, within 5 minutes of her taking office he'll be bitching about her.

15. Limbaugh Calls Clinton Pick 'Brilliant Stroke' by Obama

Conservative Radio Host Says He's Surprised Hillary Clinton Accepted Cabinet Post
By KATIE ESCHERICH
Dec. 1, 2008

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh says he's "stunned" that Hillary Clinton accepted the job as President-elect Obama's secretary of state.
Radio host says he was surprised Clinton accepted Secretary of State.

In an interview with Barbara Walters to air on "The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008," Limbaugh called the choice of Clinton "a brilliant stroke by Obama."

After weeks of speculation, Obama formally announced Clinton as his choice for secretary of state today at a press conference in Chicago. Obama said he thought she would be "outstanding" in her new role and called his national security team -- which also includes Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Gen. Jim Jones as his national security adviser -- a "new dawn of American leadership.

I seem to remember Rush was rooting for Hillary during the primaries also. Where's the hate?

"Where's the hate?" Limbaugh's entire career is based on bashing the Clintons...even Chelsea. He called her the "White House dog" when she was only 13 years old. Limbaugh's "rooting for Hillary during the primaries" was what he called "Operation: Chaos." He wasn't "rooting" for Hillary, he was "rooting" for chaos in the Democratic Party!

Some people can only think in these terms. He's also probably hoping for discourse and "chaos" between the two.

12. It's good for him because it keeps a Clinton in the spotlight

And a Clinton in the spotlight means that he has something to froth on-air about.

The only thing that gasbag cares about his his financial bottom line. As long as he has 'enemies' he can rant about, he gets a paycheck. When they disappear, so does he.

Poke my eyes out now - that's something I don't even want to imagine!

Actually, I think Rush as a woody for HRC being SOS - it gives him a chance to still rail against all things Clinton.

Conversely, if McCain had been elected he'd be dancing between gloating over the Democrats' losing vs saying McCain isn't conservative enough. Ignore him.
