And after only 3 days into the recount, there are also now 1,525 challenged votes that the state cavassing board will have to review.

4. yes, that link has today's results
the OP link refers to "after 3 days of counting." Some of the counties counted today, and today is the fourth day of counting.

8. However, the challenged votes, over 1500 so far, will most likely determined who wins

"Note: The figures in this post are based on the Secretary of State’s official statistics that were released at 8 p.m. Friday. The Star Tribune has been compiling its own totals which differ from the state’s because they include later and in some cases different information."

9. Correct, with over 1500 challenges so far
But Democrats are claiming there are several frivolous challenges on the part of Republicans.
See: http://minnesotaindependent.com/18242/franken-campaign-decries-frivolous-challenges

'Al Franken’s campaign believes it’s spotted a pattern in their opponent’s ballot challenges. “And that pattern is that if you vote for John McCain, it is inconceivable — inconceivable — that you didn’t also intend to vote for Norm Coleman,” said Marc Elias, the Franken team’s lead recount attorney, wielding a stack of 10 challenged ballots at a press conference today.'
“I think it’s clear now, at least in some instances, there are challenges being lodged that are clearly frivolous.”

11. Yes, but those won't stand up to the canvassing board.
Minnesotans split their tickets all the time, and I know a couple people who undervoted intentionally, not voting for Franken, Coleman, or Barkley. My own mother admits that she almost didn't vote in the senate race, but in the end she did vote for Al. I undervoted in most of the judicial races, and I only voted for two city council members, when the instructions said to vote for three. In 2000, 2002, and 2004, I voted for Democrats and Greens. It's absolutely "conceivable" to me.

10. The numbers are not going Al's way fast enough and I suspect he may not make it.
