Secret Service handling of threats on Obama

Ww know the from stories we've heard that Our President-elect is being threatened by a variety of nuts. I wanted to thank the Secret Service for their handling of things to date. So far we have only gotten to know a couple of the idiots that got arrested.

The proper handling of these matters involves quietly determining whether or not a threat is serious and quietly dealing with the actual threats. Ideally, they should not bring any media attention to investigations. A public arrest does not discourage wackos from making attempts, it actually does just the opposite. Remember that the people who may want to hurt the president know that it is illegal. The less the Secret Service makes of these things publically, the better.

1. I was just thinking about this earlier. The profiles of some of these whackos

are well known to the Secret Service. I'm confident these people are either being "spoken to" or other means are being applied. I'm hoping much of it is knee-jerk blathering but still, when we see or hear threats against the PE, license plate numbers, names and addresses if possible should be sent to the authorities. I appreciate the SS and all that they do.
