She genuinely seems to be winging it; there's no sense that she's boning up at all for these latest sessions.

In a sense, she's performing worse this week than she did in the Gibson/Couric phase. She has had two months to become more articulate, or at least to think a couple of seconds before stringing together two relatively grammatical, declarative and clean sentences. She still can't do that. Even in the mushiest of softball interviews.
