A Shocking Misunderstanding of Christianity: Obama supporters need "religious forgiveness"

This is what we are up against, even though we have won. Crazy hateful bigots, who call themselves Christians, so completely misunderstand the "word of Christ" that they truly believe those who aren't upset over Obama's win should seek "religious forgiveness".

Don Dollar will receive quite a surprise when he dies and finds himself at the front of the line for Hell for so completely ignoring the teachings of the person he claims to worship, Jesus Christ.

It's ironic: If the religioun he claims to follow is right and there is a Hell, he'll be burning in it for this kind of hatred. Talk about damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Don Dollar, the administrative assistant at City Hall, said bitterly that anyone not upset with Mr. Obama’s victory should seek religious forgiveness.

“This is a community that’s supposed to be filled with a bunch of Christian folks,” he said. “If they’re not disappointed, they need to be at the altar.”

1. He's one of the idiots that think Christianity is only for white people
I refuse to conclude anyone will or will not burn in hell. According to the Bible, there's only one who gets to make that determination.

At the very least, however, if we do in fact meet God at the end of our days, it will be a very, very humbling experience for Mr. Dollar. It's been many, many years since I've read the Bible, but I do not remember there being a separate set of rules and criteria for different races.

3. But... but...
Jesus Christ was not a white person of european heritage. How on earth do Christians get the idea that Christianity is this total, Caucasian thing? Do they not realize where the religion started, so close to all those other people they fear?

5. I would venture to say that most American "Christians"
would probably not be pleased if there were a way to see what Christ most likely actually looked like!

This coming from a recovering Fundie now Agnostic;)

Yep, Jesus was a lovely shade of brown! A glowing tanned color all us pasty white bitches slather our glaringly pale bodies with oil and toast in the sunshine to obtain.

Humans are ridiculous. Simply ridiculous.

Yeah, the administrative assistant at Vernon City Hall in Alabama...

Here's another classic statement from little fat Donnie:

Don Dollar, an administrative assistant with the city of Vernon in Lamar County, said a woman in Vernon was injured when a tree fell on a vehicle she was in, trapping her inside.

"We're not sure what happened, but something sure did," Dollar said.

11. They are not Christians. They are Falwellians.
These people have no right to associate themselves with the man who dedicated his short life to:
Embracing the Poor
Embracing the Outcast
Living Simply
Admonishing Violence
Loving his Enemies

14. Guys like him are just pissed off because they're not God.
All they can do, is pretend they are.

Their religion is self. Whatever pops into their little pin-headed minds is gospel. He's not a Christian, and yes, I'm sure too he's in for a big surprise someday ("wailing and gnashing of teeth" ring a bell?).
