Isn't Palin still Governor of Alaska?
Edited on Wed Nov-12-08 09:48 AM by butlerd
Shouldn't she be back in Alaska now spending her time taking care of the business that Alaskans supposedly elected her to (and hoping and praying that she doesn't get run out of there on a rail after all of the McCain campaign shenanigans)?

Or is she going to spend the rest of her term starting her 2012 bid for the Presidency- at the expense of the Alaskan voters/taxpayers?

:wtf:

How is all of this intense speculation about Palin running for President in 2012 (and continued traveling around the country) polling in Alaska right now?

1. She's an attention whore
Even if it's bad attention and people are pointing at her and calling her a killer clown, she still desperately needs to be in front of the camera.

5. Yep! She can say any stupid thing she wants, and she's doing that
She's hoping to run for president next time.

2. We should encourage it really. I think it can only help Obama's 2012 prospects.

6. While I understand what you mean
I think that we should encourage more focus on President-elect Obama and what he and the Dems need to do to start turning this country around. Maybe news is kind of "light" right now since the election is over but surely there have GOT to be some more news-worthy stories out there that need more attention.

Geez! And I thought that once the election was over and Obama elected that we wouldn't see much more coverage of Palin (for at least awhile) but I was WRONG about that!

3. Governor versus Vice President?
Now that Sarah-the-beauty-queen-who-lost has had a taste of national media attention, she's not going to be happy with mere Alaskan attention. She's played in the big leagues now and isn't ready to leave just yet.

The national media is happily providing her a spotlight, too. But in time, she's going to run out of things to say even with her hokey, folksy delivery.

I say let her continue to make herself look like a fool and hopefully more and more people will figure out her real motivation. I would rather not have her creepy persona around again in 2012.
