6. I don't believe in keeping the disabled, especially Veterans out of sight and out of mind
we SHOULD be saddened and emboldened to act on their behalf

This article says she's "paraplegic?" She's a double amputee, not paralyzed.

Seems symptomatic of the media's lack of familiarity with the issue since they ignore it.
