Complete with Obama life-size cutout. As deeply concerned about the country, voting reform and the election of a lifetime, as I've been, soberly and stoic, that's how 180 degrees playful I am now.

Partying hearty here the 23rd, with sweet potato pie.

4. I'm hoping to find the "soundtrack" for the Convention speeches. Remember "Isn't She Beautiful"...
... playing when Michele walked on? Whoever put that all together did very well.

convention is not a beauty pageant or the part of the wedding reception where the bridesmaids are entering the room. Michelle Obama is a dynamite woman apart from her looks. That was my one and only "roll eyes" moment of the Democratic National Convention, though. I just hoped Obama picked it because it was his song for her. Growing up with Toot, that may have been the music he grew up on. If so, that would have redeemed it for me. However, if some random person picked it, ugh.

6. Are you offended by the Irish one too? That made me LOL, but it ticked off one commentator royally
I refer to the link I provided in my post upthread. It was one of the most hilarious things I ever heard, me with the red hair and green eyes, and yet apparently not everyone felt that way.

I think Michelle Obama is lovely, and will be the most elegant and graceful First Lady since Jacqueline Kennedy, who I am old enough to remember. It takes nothing away from her brains and accomplishments to say so.

In my opinion.
