Who Are These 'Slash & Burn' Repubs Now Calling For Bipartisanship?
I sure hope the Obama Administration is wise enough to keep long memories when it comes to granting these Repubs anything.

Bipartisanship begins with character, and most of the surviving Repubs have none.

1. The GOP idea of bipartisan administration was Mineta as Transportation Director
So let's not go tossing key appointments at those despicable Republicans.

5. As they whine about things not being "bipartisan enough," someone should remind them...

Bush made a promise to try to reach out to Dems, to be a "uniter, not a divider," etc.

And now Congress can't even take a break without taking special measures to assure Bush doesn't make more hard-line reactionary "temporary" appointments in their absence to get around congressional approave.

That a bunch of retarded Justice Department flunkies were hired based on their answer to why they thought Bush was a great President, and chosen over folks who were far more qualified.

That Bush chose Rumsfeld over a moderate, and then listened to Rumsfeld instead of his generals, leading to an unnecessarily protracted 6 year (and counting) war.

"Bipartisan" means that you take a few of 'em along for the ride, not that you hand over the keys and get into the backseat.
