Do you actually think the White House would allow any documents that would harm Bush to get into the media's hands? No I do not think so. First they said they where destroyed, now they have been found?

Its a win either way for Bush if they are fake then he wins but even casting doubt can be just as good.

It's not clear where those docs originated, but CBS faxed copies TO the White House, not the reverse.

4. They are not fake.

This has already been analyzed, indeed, beaten to death, on several threads. CBS News had them examined by an independent expert before they went public. Proportional spacing and superscripting and a font that looks like Times New Roman did, in fact, exist in 1972 with the high-end IBM Selectrics. The suggestion that the documents were forged is a freeper trick -- don't bite.

Just take a look at the documents -- the documents use a Times Roman font and proportional spacing. They appear to be generated by a word processor and not a typewriter from that period (which would use a courier font and most likely would not have proportional spacing). At least that's what the experts consulted by the Washington Post are saying.
