2. The SUSA
numbers are pretty good. Looks like CA is back to around where it's supposed to be. SUSA really screwed up twice showing Kerry with extremely small leads.

4. So..
can we pull 80% out of Oregon now? It seems to be in the bag, and that money is sorely needed in other states. Colorado seems tempting..

11. I just reread the article
Edited on Thu Sep-09-04 09:59 PM by tritsofme
and it said they're pulling out until October.

I would think it must be trending toward * because if we were ahead comfortably it would make sense to go in for the kill and not let it sit lame for a month.

13. I really doubt that will go through
Edited on Thu Sep-09-04 10:11 PM by tritsofme
But if it did, it would be very good for us, and in a tight election it could throw the EC to us.

10. Watch out, tho, Oregon can be volatile, and bush is bombing us
With the gay marriage ban on the ballot this time, expect turnout to be high among the homo-hating rednecks.

You can't turn on the TV to a local channel without getting a slew of bushit ads, and we've proven repeatedly that we are swayed by even the most garbalicious of television commercials. Kerry might be able to withdraw his campaign funds, but I hope a couple 527s keep us in mind.

5. VERY encouraged by the NC numbers....I live in Raleigh, work in RTP (...
lots of $$$ there, but also lots of brains) - and most bumper stickers seen on commuting are Kerry (and my shiny new DU sticker I put on this morning!). I think we can win NC!

14. Washington: Kerry 50% Bush 44%
August 9, 2004--In Washington, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shows Senator Kerry with 50% of the vote and President Bush with 44%. Four years ago, Bush lost Washington's Electoral College votes to Al Gore by five percentage points.

The state remains in the Kerry column for our Electoral College projections.

Last month, Kerry held a nine-point lead in Washington.

In Washington, Kerry leads 86% to 10% among Democrats. Bush leads 88% to 9% among Republicans. As for those not affiliated with either party, Kerry leads 50% to 38%.
