Suddenly I have nothing to do! I'm at a loose end!

I woke up this morning ecstatic, pinched myself and yes Obama is still President-Elect! Then I thought to myself for the first time in over a year "I don't have any campaigning to do!" Help!

But it's probably a good thing to not be as obsessive anymore-- it's really cutting into my productivity.

I'm sure President Obama will be putting us to work soon... he sent me this email last night:

I'm about to head to Grant Park to talk to everyone gathered there, but I wanted to write to you first.

We just made history.

And I don't want you to forget how we did it.

You made history every single day during this campaign -- every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it's time for change.

I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign.

We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I'll be in touch soon about what comes next.

I read it from my BlackBerry last night as we waited for our President Elect to accept his role... and I had my boyfriend read it. He said, dang! What? Are you having an affair with Obama or something?

I replied:

I've been so hyper-focused on the election I don't quite know what to do now. It's a delicious problem. :)
