17. In numerology, 44 reduces to 8, which is a money number. It does not mean that money
will necessarily come or go, but it does mean that money will be a dominating issue. Obama's fundraising has been a major issue in his campaign, as has the bailout and the economy. And money, finances, etc. are likely to be a dominant issue in his Presidency. So, maybe there is something to numerology?
