7. No I will not "cut him slack" when he says something stupid like that tonight of all nights.
Just who is he to school Obama on his speech making I would like to know?

2. What a friggin' strange comment to make. It didn't seem "long" at all to me.
Maybe its past his bedtime.

6. Sorry. It was the FIRST thing he said about the speech. Not - "a great speech but a little long"
First of all I did not think it was long at all. In fact I thought he could have easily gone on a bit longer. And it seemed to me to be a very ungracious thing to say when he gave a very inspiring speech that hit exactly all of the right notes. I am not picking on Mark Shields. But when someone acts like an ahole I am going to call them on it, regardless of who they are. Who the hell is he to tell Obama how long his speech should be on this very historic night. I will say it again. It was assholish and he was being a smug bastard.

8. Maybe he meant McPain's speech? Now that concession speech was waaaaay to long, imho!
What a wind bag! McPain sounded like he was still campaigning, to me.
