My roommate ran into a descendent of the original Maverick about a month ago, and was she ever irritated with McCain. The Maverick family is traditionally and strongly Democratic, as are the communities they come from. The real Maverick spirit will prevail.

5. We were blue in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso and the Valley.
Now it's time to educate he bubbas and the filthy rich. About 3.5 MILLION people in Texas voted for Obama. That's something to think about.

They've been in the Valley for over 300 years!
