My fellow DUers, we were on a razor's edge in losing our rights and protections. Barack Obama - CONSTITUTIONAL LAW PROFESSOR - will make brilliant appointments to the Court. Promise. Ohmigod. We dodged a bullet in so many ways, but the Supreme Court has to be right at the top.

2. Yes, speaking of relief...
Thank God (if there is one) that we have been saved. I hope Barack appoints a lot of young, brilliant justices. We need to fix this country and fast.

This is what is significantly important. Even if we ignored the economic troubles, just the appointments and foreign policy that Obama will deal are beneficial for the WORLD.

Raise a glass tonight to John Paul Stevens. He can finally retire after having served his nation in a proudly unabashed manener. God/Goddess bless Barack Hussein Obama!!!!

11. Also Ginsberg. Even Kennedy. At least three appointments in Barack's first term.
Cannot overemphasize the importance of this tonight. Our nation and the American experiment is saved.

16. Thanks for that post. I agree.
Bless them. Now they can retire after the inauguration, knowing that the best will succeed them.
