So what are your plans following the election?

I'm already looking ahead, yes. I like to plan about three or four moves ahead. So I figure there are a few projects I can get to work on after having spent the last year helping get Barack Obama elected.

1. Return to working on fixing the two novels I stopped writing when, after Sarah Palin entered the race, I became too distracted by the sheer spectacle of reality to pay attention to my fictional characters.

2. Get ready to host Thanksgiving dinner.

3. Restart my exercise and weight-loss regimen.

And perhaps most important:

4. Work really hard on getting into Daniel Craig's pants. Quantum of Solace comes out 11/14, and it looks awesome. November just gets better and better...

3. I WAS supposed to have Wednesday off, but I have to go in.

Took it off a couple months ago as a vacation day; naturally, I was told today I have to go in to coordinate a report about the election.

Can't much get past that. Disappointing, but I'll take employment over unemployment any day.

their voicemail with my comments about their party, their candidates, their lies, tactics, etc, for nearly a month now. wouldn't want them to have to quit cold turkey!!

7. Two Things

#1. Replace the 11.04.08 sticker on my truck with one that reads '01.20.09, THE END OF AN ERROR'

#2. Put my flag back out. I took it down in disgust after Bush invaded Iraq and it's been in storage since. I adjusted the lights last night so that it will be properly illuminated.

These will be done tonight if (when..fingers crossed) the race is called for Obama.
