Voted in Florida, let the gods smile upon us all. Worries linger.

Got to the polls at 6:30, there was already a line out the door and into the parking lot. By the time 7 rolled around it was halfway down the block. Once the line started moving it was surprisingly fast, though when I got the the entrance they started doing this odd thing, they started calling by precinct, not order of precession. I asked why this was the case and they said it was because precincts are assigned specific optical ballot readers and rows of booths - see we use a paper ballots here in Broward and it's an optical scanner that records it. I got suspicious and asked again but got a general non answer that it was a matter of organization to help move the line along more orderly but I looked at the people in some precincts and again in other and saw marked differences in race and social disparities. This worries me, it raises the hair on the back of my neck. Does anybody else think this district discrimination could be a bigger strategy at hand?

HELP! I'm searching the web, I know I saw a number some weeks ago but don't know where to look know, does anybody please have that resource for me?

1. I don't like it either.
Why would you assign specific machines to specific precincts? I hate these machines!

2. CNN has a hotline to call for voting irregularities --
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/voter.hotline/

And does Obama or the DNC have a number to call, also?

This sounds just like their tactics to disenfranchise certain voters -- please tell someone.

7. I tried ACLU
They treated me like a rube or some fanatic. I was insulted. Being given the cold shoulder of of political indifference can be quite shivering. I don't know, I'm going to watch the results but if it's a stolen election I'm going to break a few wine bottles in rage. I might smoke a few bowls,:smoke: imported Cavendish, of course.
