7. Just saw it a minute ago - it's a giant waste of money and air space.
Wow - we were surprised by Dixville Notch, weren't we? What an omen of things to come!

6. Kinds loses its punch the 54th time you see it
It's been nonstop since Sunday night on cable. After seeing it so many times, I can't imagine that it has the chilling effect that they hoped for. If they had several different ads with similar smear tactics, it might have worked. But running that one over and over, I just don't think it will have much effect. Boring!

18. "US of KKK A"--FL school board voted 5-2 against renaming KKK-named majority-Black HS
Rated "F" academically by the State, the majority-Black Duval County (Jacksonville) school will keep its name the same--"Nathan Bedford Forrest High"!

See the Associated Press link at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x3582330 .

How many who hear a Wright ad will learn about this news story?

16. Saw it twice on Rachel's show last night. Double-WTF?
Who among Rachel's viewers are going to do anything but laugh at something so lame on their TeeVee? Seriously?

I'm glad they're pissing away their resources.

17. That's funny.................
I could see someone running that crap in battleground states but in California? I think they are using the scatter gun approach now...just shoot all the crap out there, anywhere and see if it sticks. They have no strategy.... The Obama campaign has been extremely strategic on where they spent time, money and resources. They pulled out of Georgia after exceeding their voter registration goals and focused getting their message out defensively in states they needed to hold and in states they felt they had a real chance in pulling into the fold. Once they felt they had done a pretty good job on defense and making inroads in key battleground states they have had the luxury to put resources back into traditionally deep red states like Georgia. It was both a good offense in that the combination of the voter registration numbers coupled with a message of hope in the face of sheer chaos in the economy have made Georgia actually competitive. And that offense meant that McCain had to pour resources into Georgia to defend his position.
