The bottom half of the ticket has a bar code and my name and allows for one guest. Both guests must have a photo ID.

There will be 65,000 attending, plus 7,000 participants, w/ 33,000 tickets sent out by email.

Senator Obama is not expected to talk before 11:00 pm. Hot chocolate and Hot dogs!

**But for those without tickets to get in the gated section there will still be a party for you in the huge Grant Park!**

As CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine reports, for the first time we saw preparations being made for those without tickets. Large video screens, with pictures fed directly from the audio and video tests on the main stage are starting to pop throughout the rest of Grant Park. There will be nine screens in total.

Some are still in pieces, trucked in from California over the weekend, to be assembled by Monday night. There are dumpsters for trash, and portable toilets, still on their trailers, to be spread around the park.

13. You had to apply online through the Democratic Party.

I had been checking for the announcement constantly at the end of last week. I saw an announcement friday. The tickets were gone in less than two hours. I received an email stating they received my request and would contact me by email with further info. Then I received another email telling me I would receive an e-ticket Monday night. I had to go out but when I got home it was here!! Oh happy day!

dark green, lol! You are gonna have a blast, I so envy you your front seat to history. I'm stuck in tinytown rural South Dakota, so not much will be going on here. Four years ago I was living in an Ohio city, but there obviously wasn't much reason to celebrate then like there is now. Take my advice: bring your own food. Hell, even one of those greasy McDonald's salads-in-a-cup provide better nutrition. Bring some Pepto-Bismol tablets for all the other people who will be turning green and heaving into the potted shrubs. (Don't make them pay for the Pepto. That's a Republican trick.)

29. My wife and I got tickets too

will be bringing our best friends, who because we live in a country of morons (or morans) cannot get married. I drove by Grant Park on my home from work today (I work in Gary, live on the Northside of Chicago) and I almost teared up passing by. Everything was set up (including 7,489 port-o-potties) and they were testing the spotlights. I cannot wait until tomorrow. And to think, tomorrow I get to lecture about the Bubonic Plague in one class and the rise of Hitler in another. Is it 830 tomorrow night yet?
