36. although he mentions that Clinton was balancing the budget
and Bush can't balance his nuts, he still wants social programs cut because of the huge deficit. He doesn't mention cuts to the defense dept, getting rid of the Bush tax cuts to the rich, the 200billion for Iraq, cuts to the pharmaceuticals in regard to the drug bill, etc. Why, because those are GOP deals.

2. No, he isn't
and don't get your hopes up that he is.

Even if he were to say, TOMORROW, that he is fully a Kerry supporter, I'd say "eh, whatever, good for him."

Then I wouldn't think another thing about it. He is a media WHORE in the worst sense of the word.

He did admit that Clinton did veto bills and government spending only went up 3 % while Bush even subtracting homeland security and military has went up 10 %.

He blames bot h sides but he still says he hates Clinton.

5. he's SCUM of the earth
what he's seeing is MSNBC ratings going up; positive buzz around Olberman's show, and tweety's brief interlude of standing up to the fascists, showing him that perhaps the way to success is NOT mimicking Faux's MO, and CNN's disastrous copycatting

he wants to keep his cushy, highpaying job

don't think it goes beyond that

he's at heart a VICIOUS, pigeyed thug, raised on fascist vitriol, who MADE his career during the Clinton inquisition

he deserves to have his.......never mind

Seriously, Buchanan and Scarborough, while being totally died in the wool repugs, have given their 'props' to others not of their ilk.
I think intelligent minds can/could/might prevail.

22. I've watched this parasite for YEARS......like a decade
starting with his ubiquitous cable appearances going after Clinton in the most scabrous, scurillous, mendacious manner: starting with a host of Whitewater lies, then moving on with salacious relish, to the Monica inquisition

not to mentioned his FAR right leanings, his obnoxiously arrogant mien, and, oh, yeah, the little Lori Klausutis thing

what do YOU know about him, please?

27. buycitgo, I KNOW nada
I am learning and not afraid to tell you that. And how you feel about Scarborough is how I feel about Bush, so... I'm just trying to be a bit moderate or evasive!!
Rock on with your hate, but use you good feelings. Sounds trite, but there are a lot of people who hate Bush as much as I do, and Scarborough doesn't come into this equation for me.
Folks are dying, Bush must go, this war should never have happened, BUSH MUST GO! That's why I'm on this forum. xoxo Ru

30. I'm HIP
don't mean to sound like I'm any fonder of Boosh than Scarface

just have had longer to cultivate my loathing

Scarface is just a low-echelon thug in the Bush/Cheney/PNAC equation; mostly venting at this point

I couldn't agree more that Bush's junta must go.....always remember, though, that he's just the figurehead in this deadly passion play.

he does as he's told, without knowing the whole story, and it SHOWS, whenever he goes offscript

there are myriad examples of this, and it should be obvious to anyone paying the slightest attention

that's why the media are the REAL enemy here: they KNOW what the score is, and are deeply complicit in keeping the curtain pulled on a lazy, gullible public, who doesn't care what happens, as long as THEIR jobs are safe, THEIR houses don't get blown up, or washed away

35. Buchanan -

Is a complete conservative; but what has impressed me about Patrick is he isn't a frothing at the mouth pug.

I've noticed that when the pugs are interviewed, you could smack them in the back of the head and get the same exact answers out of each and every one of them.

Scarborough has been trying to move his own act towards the middle. I suspected someone at MSNBC was leaning on their talent to actually pretend to act like journalists, but then you watch Matthews, that whole idea gets thrown out the window.

13. Scarborough is still a shilling Republican ....
He now claims he hates the deficit and that he is a "Ronald Reagan Republican." Well, who's the one who blew up the deficit in the 80's? His hero Ronald Reagan.

If he were really so concerned about deficit spending, he would have criticized Reagan -- who was a supply-sided and believed that deficits weren't a problem relative to the GNP. This is the same argument BushCo is using. What's the difference?

Actually, Scarborough is a good friend of Bill Maher and is, I suspect, a social liberal -- and this is the real reason he doesn't like Bush. But, for his own political survival he can't go there. So, deficit spending will have to do. If the deficit were really his main interest, he would have LOVED Bill Clinton, not despised him.

even if he becomes a complete apostate til the election, I still won't trust him....just believe he's even more of a whore than I thought he was, which was one of the MOST doctrinaire, hard core wingnuts infesting the airwaves during the impeachement fiasco AND the selection of 2000

17. You guys crack me up
why is anyone even listening to Scarborough or anyone like him?

They do NOT change their tune. They go with the money. Even Tweety saw more money in being a GOP shill than doing what he was doing, so he started talking smack on TV and got his own show.

See how it works?

I'll make a prediction: people will think "oh hmmm is Scarborough changing his tune?" because of something he did and then by next week at the LATEST you'll (generic you) be totally pissed off at him again.

They TOY with you. They PLAY with you. Don't let them.

19. Scarboy's a Reagan Republican
He was on Dobbs last night expressing serious doubts about Bush.

He also blasted Clinton because government spending increased by about 3% during his term. Ridiculous? I say yes.

I don't put much faith into 'Reagan Republicans'. They like fiscal conservatism, but fail to realize that he presided over record deficits and a major stock market crash.

BTW: Welcome aboard, Babylonsister! The name of a great Steely Dan tune there.

So now what, we're suppose to believe he's suddenly had this amazing awakening (enter beam of light) and now we should trust and rejoice because the leopard has truly changed his spots?
Pffftt Ain't gonna buy it! I may have been born at night, but it damn sure wasn't last night!

The only positive thing about all these emerging Killer Joe threads?

What about Lori Klausutis? She was found with multiple fractures in her skull and her murder was conveniently covered up by a corrupt coroner in Florida! Where is Lori's Justice?

And please, do not confuse my anger and outrage for hate. There is a distinct difference between the two.
