Public Policy Polling (PPP) has some good news in their up-coming polls
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 02:36 PM by Roberto1223
Their polls in North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Nevada, Montana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Virginia will start coming out late tonight, with Pennsylvania and Virginia first and the rest throughout the night into tomorrow. Some teasers:

1. Obama has more than enough electoral votes to become President.
2. Pennsylvania will remain in the Obama column
3. Elizabeth Dole is toast. Kay Hagan will be the new Senator from North Carolina

My guess: NC leaning Obama, VA leaning Obama, OH leaning Obama, FL leaning McCain.

Here is the list from PPP's previous polling from some of the above states:

NC +1 Obama (10/27)
VA +8 Obama (10/25)
OH +7 Obama (10/24)
FLA +1 Obama (10/21)
IND +2 Obama (10/21)
MO +2 Obama (10/14)
AZ +8 McCain (08/04)

2. I wait with baited breath
oh my, I've been reading so many polls, I feel like I should not read anymore of them. However, good news is a good thing. Thanks for the head's up!
I'll be watching for updates.

6. probably late, 9 or 10 PM. Evidently they are still on the field until 4 AM
but they want to release Virginia and Pennsylvania first and I anticipate good news... (please please)

7. That's great, but just keep in mind PPP is a Dem pollster. It's our version of Mason Dixon.
It has a 2-3 point lean our way.
