I just watched a pretty funny skit with McCain, Cindy and Tina Fey (doing her usual tremendous job as Sarah Palin). However, as funny as it was it was even more pathetic. Here we are just two days from an election where we will choose the leader of a country of 305,000,000 people and one of them has time to participate in trivial nonsense. There is something about that that just feels wrong deep in my gut.

1. Obama DID appear on SNL, pack during the primary. I actually THINK

it was right around Halloween last year. I think one of the skits was when he appeared at a costume party where Hillary was dressed in a white gown and Obama was in a black suit & tie.

5. Yup.
A costume party skit with "Bill" and "Hillary", and then a "stranger" walks in wearing an Obama mask. He takes it off and it's Obama himself. He got to deliver the "Live From New York..." line.

3. Interesting,
I had a similar reaction - it made me sort of sad for him...

(...going for the sympathy vote...?)
