Yesterday's numbers were 52-44

You do know ZOMBY'S infamous "one day" numbers really include two days of previous polling; a night and then the next afternoon, with the majority done on the preceding night...

6. I don't know what Zomby's "one day" numbers really include.
I know that in the 3 day average, he includes some interviews after 5 pm the previous day and some the current day. But I don't know if the 48-47 was that entire period. It might have only been yesterday's part of that, or it might have been yesterday's part of that PLUS yesterday night's part, which won't be included in the average until tomorrow.

In any case, I was hoping for a huge move to Obama this weekend and Zogby's poll doesn't help that prospect. Sure, it is a one day poll, and Zogby undersamples Dems, etc, but if there is going to be a huge swing to Obama (which is what I hope), it is unlikely that a poll would so wildly swing in McCain's direction.

But hopefully R2K will prove Zogby wrong. I'll be OK if it is +5 (R2K's margin for most of the recent nights except last night). I'll be worried if its +3 or lower, and I'll be very happy if it is +7 or higher.

...for relying on polls only puts you on a roller-coaster you can't control, instead of traveling a smooth path to your own destination.
