20+% of this country still supports Bush. So who are THEY voting for?

If John McCain is such a "maverick", if he's in this race to ruffle Republican feathers, and to fix all those terrible Republican mistakes, if his campaign is a repudiation of Bush, and if - as he says - a vote for him means that "Change is coming...", then tell me why the HELL are all the "loyal Bushies" voting for McCain? Why did Bush himself vote for McCain? If McCain's repudiation isn't fooling the wing-nuts, why does anybody expect it to fool anybody else? I mean, I understand that every politician panders to some degree or other, but pandering doesn't work if everybody understands that you're just pandering.

Inside the 20% that still support Bush, I would guess roughly 80% of them genuinely believe Obama is a Muslim terrorist.
