5. I Just Don't Trust
The republicans or the right wing media. The media doesn's stop proclaiming that McCain is closing in and the "Brady Affect" will probably give McCain the WH.

8. Its like watching a basketball game with my team ahead in the final seconds
knowing that one very bad call by the officials could throw the game to the other team. Referring of course to all those electronic voting machines which could flip votes.

12. Reasonably optimistic.
I expect there to be GOP games at the polls. May Obama win by such a landslide that any recount challenges by McCain would be futile.

Still looking great in PA, CO, NM, IA, VA, NV, and OH - and if Obama is thinking about campaigning in Arizona, that says more than any McSame pollster can.

This is our time! The bush nightmare is finally at an end. Although there's going to be a lot of work cleaning up his crap. But with our control of Congress and the will of the American people, we can do it. Yes We can!

:woohoo:

37. hiccups
Happens all the time with this sort of thing. May I offer a remedy that works for me? Take not quite a mouthful of water into your mouth. Tilt your head back so you are looking at the ceiling and your throat is as straight as possible. Then swallow the water down while maintaining this postion. When swallowed, slowly lower your head bakc down to the normal angle. I don't know why this works, but it works for me.

I may be using this alot on election night......

40. Hey Neighbor... Down Here In Nokomis... And No, I Don't Care Who Knows
where I live. Hiccups gone for now, but replaced by nervous stomach and head-ache! I'm NOT sure I'm going to make it! Been working hard on almost ALL of the campaigns, but not today! Keeping busy must be the REAL answer!!

Did you go to the rally yesterday?? I was a volunteer and got to sit in the bleachers behind Obama. We thought we would be smart and stand on the top row... not so smart, we saw ourselves on TV several times, but only if you knew who you were. Should have opted for the 3rd row! Kind of narcissistic I guess!

Thanks for the advice... may need it again soon. Rather hiccups than anxiety!

39. Entirely optimistic
both that this election will bring us the most competent prez in ages and also that once it's been called those freaking haters where I work will just have to spew and chew by themselves as the world gets better and better around them despite all they've been worked up to believe.

41. Be optimistic!
Be optimistic!
Don't you be a grumpy
When the road gets bumpy
Just smile
(Smile and be happy!)

Your troubles can't be
As bad as all that
When you're sad as all that
No one loves you

Be optimistic!
Don't you be a mourner
Brighten up that corner
And smile

Don't wear a long face
It's never in style
Be optimistic
And smile!

42. Switching between serene optimism & wanting to bawl my eyes out from emotional overload.
I've never been this stressed or emotional for a general election before (and I was really involved in 2000 and 2004, so I don't say that lightly).
