6. I often say to people on the fence or the other side;
"If he runs the country with a precision to rival his campaign I'll be able to relax for the first time in 8 years."
I ask them
"Did you see how he persevered with quiet competence and correct decisions til he left them in the dust? If he beat the Clinton machine he will also beat the last hurdle."

I am so completely impressed with his excellence. Even though I could not agree with some of the decisions he made along the way, I suspected then, and realize now, that they were a way of moving the bricks out of the way to achieve his goal.

To Win.

2. I concur....
I've been aware of politics since 1964...

This is the best, the brightest and, more importantly, the most bold campaign I have ever witnessed.

3. This cycle has shown us both the best AND the worst.
I don't recall ever having seen a campaign run as well as Obama's or as poorly as McCain's.

(oh, and Obama has no genitalia in your photo)

4. I know Obama is doing everything right because the freepers are having a meltdown.
A right-wing guy I work with was so mad this evening that he was sputtering. He doesn't think Obama should have taken out a 30-minute ad because "no other candidate has ever done that before."

:rofl:

8. Agreed
In times past I have followed campaigns and said "why doesn't he say this" or "why don't they do this" . In this election I say that, turn on the tv or computer the next day and Obama is doing it.

I think both Reagan and Clinton came very close, but Obama has done it as a real democrat not running away from Democratic ideals. The infomercial was totally classic Democrat stuff. He never says "I'm a new kind of Democrat" and trys to soft peddle democratic ideas. He does what Howie did and runs unapologeticlly from the "Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party" and he is such a great speaker he defends those ideals with passion and persuasiveness.
