FULL PAGE AD: USA Today - REPUBLICANS FOR OBAMA
Saw this in the A section today and was floored. Features a modified Obama logo with an allusion to the outline of an elephant at the bottom and a web link.

17. That's awesome!
Thank you for the link, it looks like a great ad!

That's what makes Obama so great, he's not going to be a President for SOME Americans, he will be a President for ALL Americans.

28. There is a Democrats for McCain organization
They have called me twice.

I don't know of any ad they have run, but they were at our NC State Fair last week. I can't bring myself to type out the website..it makes me sick to my stomach,,,,but you can figure it out if you wanted to check them out.

6. Great ad !! Loved this part:
Because we are serious about getting our government's long-term
finances in order, putting our economy back on track, ending the war
in Iraq responsibly, and keeping America safe.

Because Barack Obama is bringing all of us together to reject the Karl
Rove school of wedge politics and fundamentally change the way
Washington works.

Because even though we’re proud to be Republicans, we are Americans first. Now is the time for Americans to stand together. Our country faces
enormous challenges, and we simply cannot afford more of the same.

9. Who are the Republicans?
I don't quite get it. Is this ad funded by a Republican group? Did they list a bunch of well-known Republicans like Powell supporting Obama? Or is it just the Obama team claiming that there are Republicans for him?

16. If this ad is really from republicans, you have to hand it to them for
stepping over the line and supporting Obama. That shows they are for country first.

30. I do love the logo
But hten I've detested the republican's party use of the elephant for a very, very long time. They should use an intestinal tapeworm.

25. Awesome! My daughter told me about her friend's parents who are REPUBLICANS for Obama.
They are both military, Republicans, and quite conservative. Their daughter is a liberal 18 year old high schooler.
She told my daughter today that she was so excited cuz her parents voted for Obama yesterday on their absentee ballots. They said that their intense dislike of Palin, and the ambivalence about McCain, and their appreciation for Obama, made him the choice.

this is BIG.. they are the most conservative parents of all the kids we know.. AND they know plenty more people on the base where they work who are also Republicans for Obama.
