Charles, born in 1922, started volunteering for the Obama Campaign after his wife of 69 years passed away. He won the raffle to meet Obama at the rally in Denver.

He's such a sweet man, and the end of the video just chokes you up.

I dropped my ballot in the box and walked away sobbing. I think a lot of people are going to feel that way when they vote.

I really love that the Barack Obama campaign puts up videos that are not just professionally produced but also videos that are obviously also produced by individuals or volunteers. It's a really inclusive kind of thing that is missing from the modern political campaigns. Really, Obama's so successful because he was smart enough to realize that he needs to give all of us a stake in him.

I wanted to cry towards the end thinking of this sweet man. It really looked like he suddenly missed his wife and I'm glad the Obama campaign was there for him when he needed to fill that void. But it's still sad to think of. :cry:
