and have been using a similar line for years: I am for SMART government, not SMALL government or BIG government.

By that I also mean that since the real power behind our government, according to the Constitution, is We the People, so that means WE need to be more active and pay attention better, and stop electing moron average Joes who want to wreck it.

I would not hire a driver who hated cars, or a babysitter who hated children, so why would I hire a Republican to be in the government?

We need to elect truly elite people who will represent us, not aggressive thugs who will be so called "leaders" who only lead us into destruction. And we also need to stand up and demand that We the People are the real power. I think Obama gets it, and despite him not being my first pick, I know he will do a hell of a job as President of all Americans, not just a rough quarter of them.
