No change in the LV2 numbers

+1 for Obama in both the RV and LV1 numbers.

1. LV2 is Gallup's "traditional model" of likely voters...
should I take that as "white male landowners over 21?"
Old times there are not forgotten, indeed.;-)

Is this a "traditional" election? We have a woman on one ticket, and an African-American at the top of the other. The explosion of early voting also marks this as a non-traditional election.

3. It's interesting, though, that Rasmussen seems to follow LV2 EXACTLY.
No one should be crying over a 5-point-lead, if that's really how "small" it is. Bush I lost to Clinton by 5 points.

5. LV2 is an invention for this election
It was put in to give the MSM some way to cover a "horserace." I think the MSM will never forgive Barack Obama and the American people for taking away Big Media's "right" to tell you who the President of the United States is.

6. No, the traditional model is the traditional model -- not some new invention.
The expanded likely voter poll is a new way of determining likely voters that is being tested now, as a way to address concerns that the traditional model under-counted new voters.
