Flattening out the distribution of income and wealth is essential to our recovery. The right's failure to come to grips with this is, IMHO, their primary cause of their undoing. One thing I have learned about charity in my life, from having lived on welfare on up the pay scale, charity is not something done for the middle class. It's done for the poor.

The only way the middle class get charity, is by getting a tax cut. So what exactly is your middle class income problem with the guy who wants to give you one? Rather have more money off to the poor by your generosity?

But more to the point, I wanna know what your middle class reasoning is for supporting the wealthy besides wanting to throw a socialist label on a tax break for yourself.
